FeedCat Privacy Policy

What data we process

• Account data from MarketCAT, which you use to sign in: account ID, display name and email address. We do not store passwords.
• Organisation and brand data you create: names, time zone, brand description, team members and their roles.
• Content you prepare: post texts, images and videos, publishing times, comments and approval decisions.
• Connected social accounts: IDs and names of pages, accounts and channels, profile picture and access tokens (stored encrypted).
• Platform data needed to run the service: status and statistics of published posts (e.g. reach, views, reactions) and, in later versions, comments on your brands’ posts.
• Technical data: IP address and browser information in server logs, kept for up to 30 days.

How we use data

• To provide the service: sign-in, scheduling and publishing posts to accounts you connect yourself, client approval and statistics.
• For security and troubleshooting.
• For billing, which is handled by MarketCAT.
• We do not sell data, use it for advertising or profiling, or share it with third parties other than the processors listed below.

Social platforms

FeedCat connects to platforms only through their official APIs, after your explicit consent in the platform’s own login window. We use data only within the permissions you grant and only for the features you use.

Facebook and Instagram (Meta): list of pages and accounts you manage, publishing posts, statistics and comments. You can revoke access in Facebook settings (Settings & privacy, Business integrations or Apps and websites).

TikTok: basic profile data (ID, display name, avatar) and publishing videos and photos to your account. You can revoke access in the TikTok app (Settings and privacy, Security, Manage app permissions).

YouTube: FeedCat uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google also processes data under the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). You can revoke access in your Google account: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

FeedCat’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Processors

• Hostinger (servers in the European Union): hosting of the application, database and files.
• MarketCAT (same controller): accounts, sign-in, payments and invoices.
• Anthropic (Claude AI models): only texts sent to AI features when you use them. They are not used to train models.
• Transactional email provider: notifications and approval links.

Retention

• Access tokens: until you disconnect the account in FeedCat or revoke access on the platform.
• Platform data: only as long as the platform’s policies allow. YouTube data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days.
• Brand content and files: until you delete them or your account.
• After account deletion we delete data within 30 days, and from backups within a further 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. Write to kontakt@marketcat.app. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (UODO).

Cookies

The application uses only strictly necessary cookies (sign-in session and sign-in protection). No advertising or analytics cookies are used in the application.
